Burka’s to Bikini’s

Our week in Miami. Miami is a huge place. It takes nearly three hours to get from North Miami to South beach using public transport!! The Metromover is free and takes you around the central city. The city itself is very devoid of plants/trees/greenery and is very much a concrete jungle. The beach area is very different with lots of trees and a massive beach of white sand and warm water. We witnessed the young (and not so young!) toned up, beautiful people everywhere and it seemed de rigueur to get your shirt off even before you get to the beach! On the beach front people wore, not a lot! There were people playing volleyball on the beach and a whole outside gym where you lifted heavy weights in the midday sun! Rollerblading as you’d expect, all day parties going on in the bars and restaurants, lots of cocktails and weed available to buy ready rolled on the beach!

Miami!!!!!
