Meet us… a Primary School Teacher (David) and a University administrator (Michelle) from New Zealand with a new found love for Formula 1. The dream was to go to one race…..when we retired in 8 years time! Then the dream got bigger and we decided not to wait for retirement! And so, we approached our employers who generously gave us 10 months leave (thanks St Patricks Kaipoi & University of Canterbury,) and the dream is becoming a reality! 23 different races in 20 different countries! We have always loved to travel with our 3 daughters but have never taken anything remotely like this on before. Our kids are kinda shocked/excited/bemused but ultimately supportive (thanks girls) as we leave them behind and set off on the trip of a lifetime.
